Brooke A Henage, DMD
Welcome to our office. I am happy to be your dentist and look forward to being with you for many years to come. I graduated from Morehead State University with a Bachelor degree in Biology, then I continued on to the University of Louisville’s School of Dentistry where I graduated in 2004 with a degree of Doctor Of Dental Medicine. I practiced in Northern Kentucky for 5 1/2 years before opening my practice in 2009. I strive to provide a gentle, calming dental experience, to honor the goals and health of my patients, and to create beautiful smiles. I work closely with various dental specialists in the area to insure the best possible care for my patients, and only chose the best labs and materials to insure that outcome. I am married to Eric and we have 4 amazing, wonderful, crazy children! I spend my time outside of the office being their mom, and spending time with family and friends.
Hi, my name is Amy and I am Dr. Brooke’s chair-side assistant. I am a graduate of DATS, LLC Dental Assistant School located in Centerville, OH. Dr. Henage and I have been working together for over 7 years. I strive to calm patients’ fears and stresses often related to their dental appointments while effectively performing my duties assisting Dr. Brooke. I enjoy having personable conversations with our patients and providing quality care. My professional goal and that of our office is educating our patients on a home care routine that results in exceptional oral health. I have been married to Chris for 20+ years and have a teenage daughter. I love spending quality time with family and friends as well as reading, scrapbooking, jigsaw puzzles, movies and backyard birding.
Hi there! I’m so glad you are interested in Henage Dental. I am the office manager and insurance coordinator for Dr. Brooke. I have been with her since 2016, coming from another dental practice where I worked in the office for 2+ years. I have an Associates in Applied Science from New Hampshire Vocational Technical College. I have lived in No KY for 18 years with my husband, Brad, and our 3 kids. In the office you will find me at the front desk greeting you as you walk through the door, or answering the phone when you call. I also can be found working on treatment plans, verifying insurance coverage and benefits, scheduling appointments, and working on all the behind the scenes things that help Dr Brooke, Amy, and Melissa spend their time with you. I will be glad to assist you with understanding your insurance benefits and coverage. I love working in the dental field and seeing the joy a new smile will bring! When not helping Dr Brooke I love to garden, knit, read, sew (really, I haven’t met a craft I don’t like), and spend time with my family, friends, and animals.
Hi, I’m Melissa, the hygienist in the practice! I joined the practice in 2016 after realizing I wanted an office that was more intimate and patient centered. I began my dental career in 1985 and became a Registered Dental Hygienist in 1987 when I received an AAS degree from the University of Kentucky’s LCC program. At the time I was awarded the Golden Scaler Award by the faculty. Over the years I have maintained CPR certification and have obtained additional certification in laser debridement and general supervision from the Kentucky Board of Dentistry. I attend over 30 hours of continuing education every 2 years to ensure I’m current with the latest information in patient care. I always strive to provide each patient with the most comfortable and positive experience possible while building long lasting relationships. I am so blessed to have a career I love so deeply, to work in an office with such great team camaraderie, and to serve such fabulous patients. On a personal note, my husband Sam and I have raised 2 adult children. When not working I enjoy being outside with Sam on our 18 acres, antiquing, decorating, and spending time with family and friends.
